EnergyStar Certification:

WGBCI provides consultation on nearly any aspect of your project. Specifically, we assist clients with:

  • Setting goals and determining how to meet them, including but not limited to: energy conservation, potable water conservation, water reuse, water catchment, sustainable and or local product selection, indoor air quality consultation.
  • Communication with builders and sub-contractors to ensure that project objectives are clear.
  • Provide clients, architects, and builders with clear language as to the scope of work to be performed to achieve project goals.
  • We also conduct site visits and inspections to perform quality control on specified work including home energy performance, framing, foundation, electrical and finish work.

Pricing for Residential Energy Star Certification typically ranges from $450.00-1200.00 depending on home size:  Call or email for for estimate.

WGBCI will conduct a thorough review of your plans providing you with the following information:

  • Current condition analysis: Where you are with current planning.
  • Improvement analysis – what steps you will need to take to achieve your building objectives.
  • Common Problems Report – a list of conditions that have historically caused homes to under perform. These reports are provided in a format tailored for your architect and general contractor.
